Know Exactly What You Seek

I have been searching for a full time Marketing leadership position since April and I recently sat down to think about what EXACTLY it is that I only hope to find in my next full time job. I started to think about my past experience with workplaces and their environments - the good and the bad. I also started to think about what an ideal workplace would be like for me - What is important and what I value about both a workplace and a leader of a company. My list is specific to marketing of course, but I bet much of my list is commonly desired by most. Do you really know what it is that you are looking for? We seek but do we actually really know? I do. I always know what exactly I want. I may not ever find it, but I know what I am searching for ideally and that is half the battle! Your next workplace may not be perfect, but I think it is important to document what is important to you in your next opportunity. Stay focused and good luck Job Seekers!
